Pey Berland Tower
The Tour Pey Berland, which stands proudly on the square of the same name, is one of Bordeaux's most emblematic monuments. It is in fact the bell tower of Saint-André Cathedral, originally intended to be attached to the cathedral when it was built in 1440. However, the weight of its bells threatened its stability, and the Tower was eventually detached.
Built in the flamboyant Gothic style, the architectural beauty of the monument is not the only reason to visit Tour Pey Berland. With its 55-metre-high terrace, it offers the finest panoramic view of Bordeaux. But this view has to be earned! No less than 234 steps up a narrow spiral staircase await you...

Comprising several basins and large rooms, the works of art come to life as they appear on the walls and undulate on the water. With deliciously dimmed lighting and absorbing background music, your Valentine's Day promises to be as romantic as can be.
